Registration for the long anticipated 2013 season of Cross Egypt Challenge is now open. A limited number of riders will be invited to the new season. The 2013 season of Cross Egypt Challenge includes a carefully planned route that passes through many of Egypt finest spots.

 

 
  Friday, February 15th, 2013 - New route is planned

The 2013 season of Cross Egypt Challenge will begin from the Mediterranean's largest coastal city, Alexandria then heads toward Egypt's capital, Cairo before going South West to explore some of the  most fascinating oasis of the Egyptian Sahara (desert). A total number of 4 oasis will be explored on route before arriving to the world's largest open air museum city, Luxor, the capital of Ancient Egypt.

From Luxor the riders will head east to the coastal cities of Hurghada and Sokha, both lying on the shores of the Red Sea, then the final leg of the 2013 season will take place between Sokhna and Cairo to end the new season under the Great Pyramids of Giza,

 

With a carefully planned route ,the 2013 season of Cross Egypt Challenge will pass through many of Egypt's finest spots. This is the most challenging to date and include a total distance of 2400 KM to be covered over the course of  9 days.

2013 SCHEDULE
8 - 16 NOVEMBER, 2013
Day 1: Noon: start from Alexandria
Ride for 225 km (Estimated time: 4.5 hours)
PM: arrive to Cairo and overnight
Day 2: Early AM: start from Cairo
Ride for 365 km (Estimated time: 7.5 hours)
PM: arrive to Bahareya Oasis and overnight
Day 3: Early AM: start from Bahareya Oasis
Ride for 185 km (Estimated time: 4 hours)
PM: arrive to Farafra Oasis and overnight
